The world was doing well for itself. Technology had made some amazing breakthroughs in plenty of ways, especially medicine. Scientists had finally mastered robotic prosthetics. Cars now only needed electricity and used gas as backup. Technology was on the rise... but it couldn't save us from what happened.

Most of the plant has been wiped out. The Plague came quickly and without any kind of warning. People had just started dropping dead in the street. There was no time for scientists or our new technology to even think about making a cure.Then, just as suddenly as these people had died, some of them started coming back to life. But when they did they had these powers...

The Survivors, those who hadn't been infected at all, called the people who came back from the dead the Awakened. But not everyone who woke up came back with more power. Part of them seemed to stay dead, and it was found that they needed the blood of the living to survive. These people where called the Plagued, because they never truly escaped their fate.

It only took a few weeks for the Awakened to take over control. They knew they had power, and they knew they could use it to get what they wanted. And the Awakened took full advantage of it.

The world is again in chaos... or at least what's left of it is...

The city of Angel Falls used to be the center hub of activity. The city used to be a bustling tourist attraction. It was known mostly for their family owned shops, five star hotels, architecture, and most of all their friendly demeanor. The town just outside the city, Eagle Point, was also one of the best known communities in the world. Their schooling system was top in the country, the people were friendly and welcoming, the woods were full of tourists who loved the outdoors, and both tourists and locals loved the small island that was perfect for an adventure. But that all changed when the Plague hit. Angel Falls was one of the first places to be hit, and many first fell ill in the hospital. Then it spread. Now the people in Angel Falls are trying to get by with what they can. There's a rebel band out to get those who came back with these insane powers, and there are Awakened that are trying to take over full control. Those of the Plague though have their own ideas in mind.

There's one person though that everyone seems to listen to. An unknown Survivor (or at least they think she is) sends out a radio broadcast every so often. Somehow she seems to know just about everything that's going on, and no one knows how. But as more people found out about her broadcasts, more and more people tuned in. This is everyone's main source of news now, and its always a surprise when her next transmission will be aired.

This is a new age, a new era, and a new order. Its the beginning of something... most people think its the Dawn of Despair.
