Many ghosts haunt her as she tries to live her life. Part of Elle is desperately searching for a way to return to who she once was, but that is not something done easily

Ellina is mostly a loner, but that doesn't mean she enjoys it. Inside, Elle wants for friends, even looks for them slightly. But something holds her back, fear of trusting others. And who knows anything about anyone? They could be Awakened or plagued, and she might not even know. Elle is looking for friends.

Ellina hasn't had much luck with relationships. She had only ever had one potential boyfriend, and something went very wrong with him. One day, after they had agreed to a first date, he drove by her house, paused to take the top of his car down and proceeded to kiss a redheaded girl right in front of Ellina, marking the end of it all. Ever since then she hasn't trusted nor pursued anyone, though deep inside a part of her is lonely and craves for the safe feeling of someone who truly love her to hold her and treasure her. But doesn't everyone?

Someone who is strong and loving, able to fix the hole in her and bring her back to her past self. A friend, as well, would be nice.

Zaylin:
Survivor. Bubbly, sarcastic, kind, tends to avoid serious conversations. Since she is a survivor and she has a bad past with the awakened, she's not very fond of them. So it might be difficult to plot with her, but not impossible!

Aria:
Survivor. Bitter, sarcastic, standoffish, brutually honest. She is doesn't have anything strictly against awakened, but since see is a survivor she sides with them. Again might be difficult to plot with her, but not impossible!

Scarlett:
Awakened. Bubbly, shy at first, goofy, tries to look on the bright side of things. She is mutual with everything. She has a roommate that is a survivor but is an awakened herself. So she tries to get along with everybody except the plagues. Plotting with Scarlett might be a little easier.

Any ideas?

I think working with Scarlett could be good with Ellina. At first she could reject her, wanting to stay alone, but eventually she would warm up to her and Scarlett could help her and be a good friend.
