Appearance::[/b] Ellina is a stunning girl. Born in Ireland with Cambodian and German blood in her, she had the typical European look. Light blonde hair, pale skin, bright blue eyes. At least when she was a baby. As she grew up she gained a bit of a tan, her hair turned dark and her eyes darkened as well.

But that all changed when she was struck with the plague. Her hair began to grow whiter, her eyes continuously lightening, and her skin going pale white. Then she died. Ever since she woke up, her looks have stayed that way. She also now has a very light scar on the back of her neck, in the shape of an A that was developed while she was dead.

Personality::[/b] Elle is a very unique, complicated girl with many layers to her. When she was younger she was very simple, a little bouncy girl. But as the tragedies in her family began to occur, she became more and more withdrawn. Once on the ranch, however, Ellina became more like her old self, bouncy and bubbly.

Once her parents passed, that was the last straw. Elle became very quiet and withdrawn. And once the plague hit her and she woke back up, it only sealed her personality that had occasionally faltered. Now, Elle is quiet and withdrawn. The complete opposite of what she once was.

History::[/b] Ellina was born in Ireland and raised there until the age of seven. Her family faced many struggles in Ireland. They were well behind the month's rent and struggled severally financially. Her father was offered a job over in America, but denied it because it was too far for the family at that time. When her twin sister died at the age of six, however, many desperate actions were taken and a year later the family was traveling to America.
During her time in America, she first lived in rural Tennessee. Her father was making more money, and her mother earning a good income as well. But her family couldn't get over the loss of Elle's sister, and at the age of eleven her family moved to a ranch to spend more time together. They worked on training, breeding and raising horses. The horses helped the family to move forward with their life.
But tragedy struck and illness spread throughout the family, hitting the parents hard. Ellina was sent to live with a friend for a few weeks until the family discovered a strong doctor who gave them a chance of life down in Mobile Alabama. Unfortunately, by the time they got there, it was too late.
By the time the plague struck, it was only expected. Elle knew that, with her family's luck, she would get the plague and die from it. She died at age 15. By the time she woke up again, she noticed all the physical changes.

Ellina's bare feet touched the dew kissed grass and nearly recoiled. It was cold and wet, but of course it was. The grass was always damp at five in the morning, when the sun was just beginning to greet the horizon. Early morning meant waking. Everything was waking up, people, birds, all animals. Now it was a different kind of day. A peaceful kind.

Tightening her shoe laces, Ellina straightened up, stretching. Just like that she was off. Every morning she went for a jog. It was the perfect time for it. Not too hot yet and not many judging eyes. The air was crisp and clean smelling, making it easier to breath in as she ran. Especially with the brisk wind that had started. Ellina ran because it changed everything for her, made the world a safe place, even for just a while.

Elle paused, watching a neighbor wake up, wondering what their life must be like. What everyone's must be like thanks to the plague.
